Conference reviews new rural development emulation movement
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) held a conference in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province on September 27 to review the emulation movement “The whole nation joins hands to build new-style rural areas” in the period of 2011-2020.
Up to date, a total of 52 cities and provinces across the country have approved and implemented the “One Commune One Product” (OCOP) programme at the provincial level. It is expected that around 2,490 products will participate in the programme by 2020.
At the conference, many units and localities shared their experience and worthy models, while proposing orientations and recommendations to remove difficulties in the implementation of the NRD programme.
