Population faces new challenges
The population sector of the nation are facing new challenges in terms of significant disparities in fertility among regions, imbalances in the sex ratio at birth, ineffective exploitation of the advantages of the golden population, and a lack of synchronous solutions.
This was the content shared by Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son at the seminar on Population and Development, in response to the National Action Month on Population and Vietnam’s Population Day December 26, 2020 with the theme “Improving the quality of the population to contribute to rapid and sustainable national development”.
