Webinar raises awareness among ethnic minority youths on preventing child marriage and human trafficking
A webinar aiming to raise awareness among ethnic minority youths in preventing and combating child marriage and human trafficking took place in Quang Binh Province on May 5.
The project on “Enhancing awareness of ethnic minority children and young people on human trafficking and child marriage through digital technology” (EMPoWR) is co-funded by the Delegation of the European Union and Plan International in Belgium, and has been implemented by the ISDS and Plan International Vietnam in 52 communes and 11 districts in the provinces of Quang Binh, Ha Giang, Lai Chau and Quang Tri.
The goal of the project is to support 17,200 children and young adults from ethnic minority groups aged between 10 to 24 in using the digital space to learn and access support services relating to child marriage and human trafficking.
